Marcus Hannon is a Dietitian, specialising in sports nutrition. He is currently Head of Nutrition at Aston Villa Football Club and he also sees clients at The Manchester Institute of Health & Performance.
He attained his undergraduate degree from Oxford Brookes University in 2014 and then went on to complete an MSc in Sports Nutrition at Liverpool John Moores University. His PhD, which was taken at LJMU in collaboration with Everton Football Club, where he formerly worked, is entitled ‘'Quantification of training load, energy intake and energy expenditure in elite youth soccer players: implications for sports nutrition guidelines.' Mr Hannon is a graduate member of the Sport and Exercise Nutrition register.
