Dr Vivienne Ezzat is a consultant cardiologist and general electrophysiologist. She sees patients with a variety of heart rhythm disturbances and these include bradyarrhythmia, supraventriculartachycardia, and atrial febrillation. Her NHS base is Barts Heart Centre.
Dr Ezzat has a particular interest in arrhythmia in patients with congenital heart disease. Her NHS work is at London's St Bartholomew’s Hospital and she its lead for congenital heart disease electrophysiology. She has trained extensively in electrophysiology at three leading London teaching hospitals - the Heart (UCLH), Barts and Great Ormond Streert. She has also undertaken a Fellowship at Toronto General Hospital in 2014. Dr Ezzat continues to have an active interest in outcomes research and research into the mechanisms and outcomes of arrhythmia in patients with congenital heart disease.
