Dr Vivian Rittenberg has worked since 2008 in reproductive medicine and assisted conception. She started working in the field at Manchester Fertility Services and later continued at the assisted conception unit of Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where she also ran an egg and sperm donation clinic.
Dr Rittenberg specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Free University of Brussels in 2007 and also gained experience working in Ireland and Australia. She obtained a research grant and worked on the differentiation of human embryonic stem cells in the university’s research laboratory of human reproduction.
Dr Rittenberg is also interested in seeing single women, same-sex couples and couples having gamete donation treatment. She has published in international journals, one of her research interests being the effect of increased body weight on assisted conception treatment outcome.
She is also fluent in both German and French
