Dr Virginia Hubbard is a Consultant Dermatologist, with a National Health Service (NHS) base at Barts and The London School of Medicine as well as Ipswich NHS Trust. She also sees patients privately, including at The London Bridge Hospital. She has been treating patients with skin problems since 2004 and specialises in general dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, acne, eczema, moles, rosacea and minor skin surgery. She is also active in education.
Dr Hubbard qualified from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals (UMDS) in 1995 and was appointed Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Cutaneous Research and Honorary Consultant in Dermatology at Homerton Hospital in 2005. She is the Course Director for the International Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology and she manages a distance-learning web-based teaching programme. Dr Hubbard is also involved in the education of undergraduates and postgraduates at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) and Homerton Hospitals.
