Dr Stephen Motto is a Sports Medicine Consultant specialising in musculoskeletal injuries, chronic back pain, chronic exertional compartment syndrome and shockwave therapy. He works privately at London Bridge Hospital.
Dr Motto qualified in 1984 from Southampton Medical School and pursued the specialism of sports and musculoskeletal medicine. He received a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the London Hospital in Whitechapel in 1989 and was then awarded a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine in 1993.
In 1997 Dr Motto was appointed a Sports Medicine Consultant and has since then been at the cutting edge of Sports Medicine. He delivers expert treatment to both amatuer and elite professional sportsmen and women. His experiences include working with the British Rowing and British Bobsleigh teams.
He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in both the UK and Ireland and he is a leader in the field of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy.
