



Dr Sofia Eriksson is a Consultant Neurologist specialising in epilepsy and neurological sleep disorders. She has considerable experience in the treatment of a full range of seizure disorders ranging from parasomnias to narcolepsy. Dr Eriksson also specialiases in evaluating and treating sleep disorders such as daytime somnolence and night-terrors.
In addition, Dr Eriksson is a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and the UCL Institute of Neurology.
After graduating from medical school at Göteborg University Sweden in 1994, Dr Eriksson continued to train for her PhD at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Sweden specialising in the epilepsy department. After completing specialist training in neurology, she was appointed the position of consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Today, Dr Eriksson is a member of the expert panel for the Association of British Neurologists and sits on the panel for Sleep-Wake disorders for the European Academy of Neurology.
