



Rheumatology
Dr Shahir Hamdulay is a Consultant Rheumatologist based in London, UK. Having studied at the Royal Free Hospital, he was awarded his medical degree in 1999. Following this, he undertook postgraduate training across Hammersmith & University College London hospitals before completing specialist training in Rheumatology. As part of this training, he was awarded a clinical research fellowship with the British Heart Foundation at the Hammersmith Hospital, focusing on the vascular effects of drug therapy in inflammatory and connective tissue diseases.
Dr Hamdulay was soon awarded a PhD by Imperial College London for his work and went on to win several prestigious prizes from the Royal Society of Medicine and the British Society of Rheumatology. He is a now currently a Consultant in Acute/General Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at Northwick Park Hospital but maintains an active role in research and education.
