Having met Dr Chowdhary on my first visit to the Alexandra BMI hospital, following my episodic breathing difficulties, I felt totally at ease in the knowledge that I had come to see a genuinely caring and empathetic cardiac specialist. Right from the very moment his considerate and detailed approach in trying to get to the root of my problem was nothing but professional. Conducting an ECG on my first visit, followed by a chest x-ray, echo-cardiogram, and a wider and deeper investigative Cardiac MR perfusion - This is the gold standard approach for anyone seeking reassurance that they are in the very best hands. The follow up referrals to his specialist colleagues, and detailed letters outlining his findings left nothing to chance and was yet again extra reassurance that he was attentive and determined to find my underlying problem. I have nothing but praise for this gentleman and would recommend anyone seeking a genuine feeling that they are in very capable hands to make an appointment with Dr Chowdhary.

I found Dr Chowhary most meticulous in his questioning about my general medical condition, as well as relating specifically to the issue of the condition of my heart. His explanation of the results of my echo test was clear and not full of jargon. His explanation of the various options for treatment was also very clear, as was his advice that there would need to be input from the renal team, under whose care I am already, hence his having to refer me on to a colleague at the MRI to work on my case along with them. I felt reassured by his obvious expertise and happy to be in his care, albeit temporally because of the need to refer me on to the MRI.

Prior to meeting Dr Chowdhary I was very unsure of all the advice and suggested treatments I had been offered. I found Dr Chowdhary to be very sincere and informative, he answered all my questions and discussed fully my many concerns. I feel very confident with my treatment and am delighted to have my care in such capable and knowledgable hands. I believe Dr Chowdhary will take excellent care of me ( I am a widow and feel very vulnerable) he is very patient and does not get tired of my many research questions.

In November 2017 I suffered a cardiac arrest and was admitted to Wythenshawe Hospital where Dr Saqib Chowdhary performed an emergency procedure to insert a stent in a narrowed artery. The procedure was extremely successful and I am now enjoying good health and exercising regularly. The follow up consultations have proved to be very reassuring and I have total confidence in Dr Chowdhary's expertise as a Consultant Cardiologist.

Dr. Chowdhary treated me for a heart attack in March 2018. This review is a little late but I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Chowdhary for saving my life. If it were not for his expertise, experience and skill I would not be here today. I have nothing but respect and admiration for all the medical profession but when it comes to specialising in the various fields of the human anatomy then Dr. Chowdhary is first class in the field of cardiology. I would recomend this doctor to anybody with problems within his field. He is also a thoroughly nice chap as well.

After visiting my local Cardiology Unit with chest pains and shortness of breath I decided to see Mr Chowdhary to speed up the diagnostic process. The appointment came through within one week during which Mr Chowdhary carefully assessed all my previous notes, performed a number of tests including ECG and then explained to me very clearly the possibilities from my symptoms and the results of the test. Mr Chowdhary recommended an Angiogram with the potential of an Angioplasty to be carried out during the same procedure, he also changed my medication which relieved my symptoms within a few days. We did the Angiogram with 3 weeks which was a very quick and painless procedure with no after effects. Unfortunately the results meant that I will need a heart bypass but I gained huge relief from knowing my condition giving me the opportunity to manage it better. My overall experience was excellent, Mr Chowdhary is not only an expert in his field but also has very good interpersonal skills. I would certainly recommend Mr Chowdhary to anyone experiencing the same symptoms as me.

I am 82 & have had heart problems since 1984,having bypass surgery in 1984 at Wythenshawe Hospital. Since when I have had 2 ops and numerous angiograms. When I became ill again & was referred to Dr S Chowdhary I did not have much hope of improvement. He took on my very difficult case, & was determined to remove my severe heart blockages. His explation of treatment has always been clear & easily understood,& his determination to help with a diifficult case is admirable. His expertise in performing two coplicated and lengthy angiograms plus angioplasty has left me with a good quality of life for which I am most grateful.I would reccomend him to any of my family or friends.

I referred myself to Dr Chowdhary after the NHS Consultant, who was previously treating my health issues, was unable to satisfactorily give me a clinical diagnosis of my condition. Dr Chowdhary comes across as a quiet unassuming Gentleman but has shown to be very tenacious with the tests requested and of the subsequent assessment of the results, in the depth of information given in his diagnosis and in the aftercare that has been, and continues to be, given. His fees, paying privately without the benefit of Private Health Insurance, are in line with other consultants charging for private service. In summary, Dr Chowdhary provides a high level of care and i feel very confident in his assessment, diagnosis and aftercare.

During this time I have had two critical surgeries, performed by Dr. Chowdhary, and my continued improving health is exclusively down to the Doctor and his team.
