I have seen Dr Chowdhary twice now, and will be having a third consultation at the bet of July - I had originally been scheduled for a heart by pass, but this was postponed due to coronavirus. I saw Dr Chowdhary after a recommendation by a friend. He was very pleasant and relaxed, and asked me for details of my symptoms, and he also carried out a number of tests. His manner at all times was very pleasant, and I asked him if I could possibly stay on tablets rather than have the operation. He advised me that he would meet with my surgeon and review everything with him. A few weeks later he contacted me and arranged a further meeting, where he advised me that bit was a borderline case, and I could choose either route. I decided to stay with the tablets, and after a couple of adjustments to the dosage I have been much better. Dr Chowdhary makes you fell relaxed and confident and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

It was lovely to meet Dr Chowdhary he made me feel very at ease with things. Anything heart related is a worry but his calm manner and detailed, yet understandable, explanations really put my mind at rest. I have further scans recommended but with the knowledge that Dr Chowdhary will be reviewing them has made the whole prosses a lot easier.

Having met Dr Chowdhary on my first visit to the Alexandra BMI hospital, following my episodic breathing difficulties, I felt totally at ease in the knowledge that I had come to see a genuinely caring and empathetic cardiac specialist. Right from the very moment his considerate and detailed approach in trying to get to the root of my problem was nothing but professional. Conducting an ECG on my first visit, followed by a chest x-ray, echo-cardiogram, and a wider and deeper investigative Cardiac MR perfusion - This is the gold standard approach for anyone seeking reassurance that they are in the very best hands. The follow up referrals to his specialist colleagues, and detailed letters outlining his findings left nothing to chance and was yet again extra reassurance that he was attentive and determined to find my underlying problem. I have nothing but praise for this gentleman and would recommend anyone seeking a genuine feeling that they are in very capable hands to make an appointment with Dr Chowdhary.

I found Dr Chowhary most meticulous in his questioning about my general medical condition, as well as relating specifically to the issue of the condition of my heart. His explanation of the results of my echo test was clear and not full of jargon. His explanation of the various options for treatment was also very clear, as was his advice that there would need to be input from the renal team, under whose care I am already, hence his having to refer me on to a colleague at the MRI to work on my case along with them. I felt reassured by his obvious expertise and happy to be in his care, albeit temporally because of the need to refer me on to the MRI.
