



Dr Saifee Mullamitha is a Consultant in Medical Oncology based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and appointed in 2007 and he also sees patients privately. Dr Mullamitha has a specialist interest in the personalised management of early and advanced colorectal cancer. He collaborates with a range of collages and has an interest in the liver directed approach, Selective Internal Radiotherapy (SIRT).
His other interest is the diagnosis and treatment of cancers from unknown primary sources and he is also involved with clinical trials in this area. Dr Mullamitha is the lead principal investigator in a number of national and international trials and this includes being Chief Investigator in an ongoing UK immunotherapy trial for patients with advanced colorectal cancer.
Dr Mullamitha is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and also an examiner with the South Manchester University Hospitals - he is committeed to teaching medical students and oncology trainees.
