



Dermatology
Dr Rubeta Matin is a Consultant Dermatologist who has a specialist interest in cutaneous oncology and works very closely with leading Haematologists and Oncologists. At Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust she leads the specialist Transplant / Immunosuppressed clinic and provides a dedicated Dermatology service to the Bone Marrow Transplant clinic which is the first of its kind in the UK.
Dr Matin is an active clinical researcher and collaborates on a number of projects with world renowned specialists both nationally and internationally. At Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust she is currently the Research Lead for Skin Cancer in the Dermatology Department. She is actively involved in mentoring Dermatology trainees and is an examiner for the final MB and is involved in developing curriculum and assessments in Dermatology.
Dr Matin received her medical degree from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School, University
of London in 2001. During this time she completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry with Basic Medical Sciences achieving a First Class. She undertook general medical training in University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation where she achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2004 before completing her specialist training in Dermatology in the Oxford Deanery.
