After graduating from Oxford University in 1999, Dr Sylvester completed specialist training in London and was awarded a doctorate in Cognitive Neuroscience from UCL.
Within the field of neurology, Dr Sylvester specialises in cognitive neurology and runs a clinic for neuro-rehabilitation following traumatic brain injuries. Additionally, he runs a general neurology practice at UCLH and Homerton, diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of neurological disorders.
Dr Sylvester pays a special interest to sports related concussion and manages athletes following head injuries at the UCL Institute of Sport and Exercise Health. He sits on the expert concussion advisory panel for the English Football Association and worked as an independent concussion expert for the Rugby World Cup.
