



Respiratory Medicine
Dr Rama Vancheeswaban is a leading Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with HCA Healthcare at The Wellington and Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre. She also holds an NHS Consultant post at the Royal Free Foundation Trust and an Honorary position at the Royal Brompton Foundation Trust. With over 15 years of experience as a Consultant, clients can be assured that they are in scare hands. She offers an in-depth assessment of the presenting problem and collaborates with her clients to provide a holistic approach to treatment. She welcomes clients suffering from a variety of respiratory conditions including chronic cough, asthma, bronchiolitis, sleep disorders and interstitial lung disease.
After qualifying with a Medical Degree she completed her training in respiratory at various London teaching hospitals including the Brompton, St Mary's and Hammersmith. She completed an MSc from Brunel University where she researched Immunology and a PhD from the Royal Free/Brompton and University College London for her research into the Immunopathogenesis of Scleroderma and Fibrosing Alveolitis. She was appointed as the patient ambassador for the British Lung Foundation and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and travelling the world.
