



Dr Paul Kirk is a Consultant Cardiologist based at Lister Hospital Stevenage, and is an Honorary Consultant working with advanced imaging techniques at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
He covers a wide range of heart conditions but mainly specialises in General Cardiology. He also has an interest in cardiac diseases during pregnancy and cardiac imaging techniques. He can perform coronary angiography, transthoracic echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiography.
Dr Kirk graduated from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1999, and undertook his postgraduate higher specialist training in General Medicine and Cardiology. Following this, he completed a fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital, Imperial College under the guidance of Professor Dudley Pennell.
He actively carries out research and has published his work in cardiology in high ranking journals including Circulation. Furthermore he has presented both nationally and internationally and has successfully been awarded ‘Young Investigator of the Year’.
