    Internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Paul Jairaj, has practices at HCA at the Shard, London Bridge Hospital, 31 Old Broad Street, Princess Grace Hospital and Lister Hospital. He specialises in hip and knee arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement, patient-specific customised/3d planned joint replacements, meniscus repair and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. 


    Mr Jairaj gained his medical qualifications from Birmingham University in 1991. He went on to gain a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Fellowship of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002. Mr Jairaj undertook his surgical training on the renowned Imperial College Scheme and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Eng) qualification. Mr Jairaj was one of the first surgeons in the UK to use 3D planned patient-specific prostheses for hip and knee replacements which are customised to the individual. He also has an interest in research and offers courses to GPs. 


    Outside of work, Mr Jairaj’s hobbies include tennis, skiing, and golf.
