Guy's Cancer Centre, Great Maze Pond, London, United Kingdom, SE1 9RTProfessor Paul Fields is a Consultant Haematologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals and he sees patients privately at a number of locations, including London Bridge Hospital, the Harley Street Clinic and the Lister Hospital. His principal interest is the treatment of Lymphoma and he is Head of the Lymphoma Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He also specialises in treating other blood cancers and has authored several publications on his research interests, which include lymphoproliferative diseases and immunomodulatory strategies to treat haemato-oncological disease.
During his postgraduate training, he was awarded an MRC clinical training fellowship and undertook research training at the University of London and the University of Pennsylvania in the US. This lead to a PhD degree awarded from the University of London in Immunology and Genetics. He attained two post-graduate young investigator awards during his PhD thesis work.
Professor Fields sits on two NCRN Lymphoma working groups and is a UK principal investigator for a Lymphoma NCRN badged CR (UK) study. Professor Fields is a member of the British Society of Haematology, the American Society of Haematology and the European Society for Bone Marrow Transplantation.
