His main academic and clinical interests focus on prognostication of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), bone marrow transplantation, late effects of chemotherapy/ bone marrow transplantation, fertility in recipients of chemotherapy and immunotherapy of haematological malignancies (i.e. monoclonal antibodies, CAR-T cells).
Dr Kottaridis is a member of the National Cancer Research Network (Former MRC) working party for AML. He has published more than 74 papers in peer-reviewed journals and more than 4000 scientific papers have cited his work; he has also contributed with two chapters in Haematology textbooks.
Dr Kottaridis is an enthusiastic teacher and lecturer having given more than 200 lectures and presentations in national and international meetings.
