



Neurology
Dr Swayne is an experienced neurologist who studied medicine at Cambridge University - he awarded a PhD in neuroscience from UCL and spent a year studying brain plasticity after stroke.
He is interested and experienced in all aspects of general neurology including headache, epilepsy, MS and stroke - he has a specialist interest in Neurorehabilitation. Dr Swayne has published multiple original papers and book chapters on the control of movement by the brain and the role of brain plasticity in post-stroke recovery. He is also interested in the assessment of symptoms including funny turns, tremor and sensory disturbances.
