Ms Erskine is a specialist in the management of large fibroids, colposcopy (management of abnormal smears and HPV disease) and vulval disease, and also sees women with general gynaecological problems. Ms Erskine is the senior obstetrician at The Homerton Hospital in East London and specialises in “High Risk” pregnancy. She set up the Diabetic and Medical Complications in Pregnancy clinics at The Homerton. She has written antenatal care and delivery suite management guidelines that have been used in many hospitals.

Ms Erskine holds a monthly NHS clinic with a consultant dermatologist for women with vulval problems. Gynaecologically, she has an interest in the management of fibroids and also is an accredited teaching colposcopist (training other doctors to treat women with abnormal smears and HPV disease). Ms Erskine has had various research interests – this included an MD Thesis on Pre-Eclampsia, fetal monitoring in labour and induction of labour. She is on the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists advisory group for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and has written extensively on this. She has also written on a woman’s right to choose her mode of delivery.

Dr. Erskine is amazing! We chose her due to her expertise and experience for complicated pregnancies. I am an "older mom" and was scared to have a complicated pregnancy. She is very confident and makes you feel sure all will be OK. Will go to the point and give you all the information you need. My C section was magical....beautiful and Dr. Erskine and her team worked with precision but making me feel relaxed. My epidural was almost pain free, thank you Dr. Groves! I listened to my fav songs and felt like all went so fast. My scar is also great, very low and you can hardly see it. I am ready to com back for my second baby. Thanks so much!
