



Dr Martin Lowe is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist based at the Barts Heart Centre, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He specialises in the treatment of arrhythmias in adults and children with catheter ablation and pacemaker / defibrillator implantation.After studying medicine at St George’s Hospital, London, he completed his specialist training in London and Cambridge, before undertaking a research fellowship at The Mayo Clinic, USA.
Dr Lowe is active in the education of trainees in his field and is a Honorary senior lecturer at University College London. He is also frequnetly involved in clinical research and his work is regularly published in peer-reviewed journals and publications. His research interests include ablation strategies in those with arrhythmias accompanying cardiomyopathy or congenital heart disease, risk stratification in patients and families predisposed to sudden cardiac death, and multisite pacing in heart failure patients.
