



Neurology
Dr Maha Awadalla is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist and Epilepsy Specialist in London. She has extensive experience treating children with various neurological conditions, including headaches, neurodegenerative conditions, cerebral palsy and spasiticity, acute neurological problems and other various neurological conditions. She specialises in epilepsies and epileptic encephalopathies.
She graduated from the Ain Shams School of Medicine, Cairo in 1994, before undertaking specialist training in paediatrics and paediatric neurology at Ain Shams University Specialised Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow. In 2003 she completed her MRCPCH and was awarded a MD/PhD in paediatrics in 2004. She finished her training Paediatric neurology in 2009 and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics. She has worked as an Associate Professor in Egypt and Consultant Paediatric Neurologist in Saudi Arabia, before being appointed as Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at the Royal London Hospital in 2013.
