Dr Lucinda Green

Dr Green is a consultant perinatal psychiatrist who is an expert in providing care for women with a wide range of mental health problems who are planning a pregnancy or who are pregnant. She developed and led an innovative perinatal mental health service integrated with the maternity service at St. Thomas' Hospital. 

She is passionate about ensuring that women have high-quality mental health care during pregnancy and after birth. She is a recognised leader in perinatal mental health service development. She has been a member of the British Association for Psychopharmacology's census guidelines development group for the use of psychotropic medication preconception, in pregnancy and postpartum. 

Dr Green works collaboratively with women to help them make informed choices about their care and treatment. She is valued for her individualised approach and compassionate care.
