Dr Khan clearly explained the proposed treatment options and side effects. Following the completion of my first course of treatment I had a review during which Dr Khan checked my tolerance of the medication. He patiently addressed all the questions we had. As I was not an inpatient I am not able to rate the bed side manner. I would have liked a more detailed explanation of the clinical summary details in the letter send to my GP and copied to me e.g. post surgery histology findings but appreciate limitations on the consultation time.

I’m a (stage 4 bowel cancer patient) currently being treated by Dr Khan. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He is always realistic with next steps, ensuring my expectations are managed. Dr Khan is a great listener, and always treats me with the upmost respect. He is an oncologist who is open to new ideas and is willing to discuss various options that could be explored. I’ve always felt he’s had my best interest at heart when it comes to consultation and follow ups. All in all, he’s a true professional and will always go out of his way to find the best specialists when it comes to referrals. My previous Oncologist retired and Dr Khan took over his cases including mine. I had just had a relapse last f my disease after many years and was unsure of my options. Dr Khan gave me the available options with pros and cons and explained everything very clearly. He has a very pleasant but firm personality which is required in this role. He keeps his appointment times and as most appointments at the moment are telephone consultations, he is never in a hurry and I find that very important. He is very knowledgable in his field and every symptom I get during my chemo treatment is treated and followed up I find to be a very kind and emphatic Doctor

I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Khan, and thanking him for his kind and efficient treatment of my colorectal cancer. Dr Khan has dealt with my treatment with sensitivity and effectiveness. He has shown great understanding of our personal situation as well as planning a very effective treatment regime for my illness. Sadly, it cannot be a cure but it has given me many months of trouble-free life. As I live a long way from London, he has also been able to arrange for me to have my chemotherapy treatments at home, which has been a massive relief to me and my wife. All in all I couldn't ask for a better, kinder, more sympathetic doctor to be helping me at this distressing time.
