



Dr Jonathan Clague is a Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust.
He qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1985. He then went on to complete his training in Cardiology at Barts and The London NHS Trust and then completed 2 years of research in cellular pathology at UCLA. He then became a Senior Registrar at Royal Brompton and St George’s NHS Trust before his appointment as a Consultant in 1997.
Although he is an interventional cardiologist with wide experience of invasive cardiology, he also specialises in electrophysiology and is an expert in all aspects of heart rhythm abnormalities such as atrial fibrillation and ablation.
Dr Jonathan Clague has an academic interest in treating advanced cardiac failure with stem cell therapy – where a patient’s autologous bone marrow cells are injected in their own heart.
