    About

Dr Janssen is an experienced neurologist with broad interests including headache, migraine, TIA, stroke, memory disorders and all general neurological symptoms ranging from tingling/numbness to tremor.

Dr Janssen has been a consultant neurologist at Chelsea and Westminster, Royal Brompton, and Charing Cross Hospitals since 2005. Having been clinical lead for TIA and neurology in 2015 he was appointed service director for neurology and stroke at Chelsea and Westminster Hosptital. He leads the clinical team at Chelsea and Westminster, personally provides acute neurology input to the Royal Brompton Hospital, and contributes to stroke services at Charing Cross Hospital, the leading hyperacute stroke service in the UK. He is a GMC recognised trainer and keen teacher of medical students and junior staff.

In the independent sector he prides himself on providing a personal service with clinics at HCA's Lister Hospital Chelsea Outpatient Centre and Chiswick Medical Centre. He is also co-chair of HCA joint neurology and neuro-rehabilition council, part of HCAs Neurosciences department.

It is important that HCA is transparent about our relationship with those doctors who provide us with clinical guidance on delivering the best possible care to patients and operating our hospitals safely and efficiently. We set out here some of the ways in which we work together and the amount we pay this doctor for such services.
