Jo qualified from Warwick Medical School after completing a BSc in Neuroscience at Kings College London. Jo then undertook her specialist training in Sport & Exercise Medicine on the London Deanery rotation. Jo was awarded the Donald Macleod Medal for the highest marks in the Diploma in SEM from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Jo worked at both the Olympics and Paralympics 2012, and has worked in a variety of sports including International rugby, Premiership Academy Football, premiership rugby, hockey, ice hockey and GB disability target shooting. Jo was an International Performance Team Doctor for England Men’s and Women’s Sevens and Women’s XVs. She recently returned from a successful Rio 2016 with the GB 7s rugby teams. She has now been appointed the lead sports physician for the Lawn Tennis Association.

Dr Larkin is an excellent Sports Medicine Physician with a holistic approach to functional pathologies investigating all avenues to find a diagnosis. She makes the patients feel at ease and has great empathy for the most difficult of cases. My patients are in good hands under her care, knowledge and attention
