    Dr Jane McGregor is a Consultant Dermatologist who with over 30 years of experience and expertise has gained a global reputation in the field of skin disease and skin cancer in patients who have received an organ transplant. 

    She plays an active role in the cutting edge research at the Blizard Institute of Cell and Molecular Science Centre for Cutaneous Research at Barts and The London, investigating the development and treatment of skin cancer in immunosuppressed patients. She is also a senior lecturer at the institute, and an honorary consultant dermatologist with a special interest in photobiology and skin cancer, looking particularly the role of drugs in UV-mediated skin cancers

    Dr McGregor is a highly qualified specialist, graduating from Cambridge University with a first class honours degree and receiving a distinction in her clinical medicine and pharmacology training at Guy’s Hospital. Her general medical training took place at the highly regarded Royal Brompton and Hammersmith Hospitals in London, where she achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians before going on to specialise in dermatology at the prestigious St John’s Institute of Dermatology.

    Dr McGregor’s work in the field of skin cancer earned her a Doctorate of Medicine in 2000, and she has gone on to publish over a hundred peer-reviewed papers on the subject in leading medical journals. With over 30 years of experience and expertise behind her, she has gained a global reputation in the field of skin disease and skin cancer
