



Nephrology (Renal Medicine)
Dr James Pattison is a Consultant Nephrologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and also works in private practice, including at London Bridge Hospital and Blackheath Hospital. His primary clinical interests are managing patients with glomerular diseases and kidney transplantation.
Dr Pattison qualified from Oxford University Medical School and then specialised in kidney medicine at Guy's Hospital and Stanford University Medical Center, California, before being appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist in 1996. He is a full-time NHS nephrologist of 24 years standing. He has a very busy clinical practice. Research work includes being principal investigator in clinical trials studying new immunosuppressive agents used in kidney transplantation treatment.
