I would highly recommend Dr. Harrison; as he was extremely knowledgeable; thorough; and put me at ease. He did a comprehensive examination and explained in detail the purpose of each test and what the next steps looked like for me. I really appreciated his exceptional bedside manner as I was very worried when I came in to see him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Harrison if you are in need of a cardiologist.

I first met Dr James Harrison in August 2018 at the Chelsfield Hospital, Chelsfield, Kent. I had suffered a major Heart Attack in July 2018, which would have been fatal if it had not been for the Doctor’s and staff at both Maidstone Hospital and the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, kent. After being discharged from the William Harvey, I sent a considerable amount of time rehabilitating at home, it was then that I felt somewhat abandoned. I wasn’t due for any kind of follow up until the November of that year, I was left thinking what I could and could not do both physically and mentally. I had a good friend who had a similar situation happen to him, it was my friend that suggested I see Dr Harrison. On meeting James for the first time I was immediately drawn to his professionalism, he was incredibly thorough throughout my consultation, add to this his gentle manner, kindness, he was simply first class. Dr Harrison has been influential in my recovery, setting out a plan of action to help my physically, writing letters in reference to protecting my career, and arranging my wellbeing going forward. You only have to look at Dr Harrison’s experience and what he has achieved in cardiology, that alone will put your mind at rest. I can’t rate Dr Harrison enough, he’s an outstanding cardiologist with that personal touch.

James was great helping this troubling time. The surgery went ahead without issue and I feel better now than i have done in years. Following my surgery i still had some worries, James listened to my concerns and sent me for an additional scan to ease my mind. All in all the experience couldn't have been any better.

Dr Harrison had a very good bedside manner. He explained in detail the extra heart beats that I seem to be having. He very swiftly organised to have a heart monitor fitted for 2 days and an ECG test. Both of these results came back very quickly. Fortunately I have only had to see him twice but each time I have felt that he has explained things to me very well. He also gave me a prescription the evening I saw him with the results so was able to go to a late opening pharmacy to get my medication to start taking immediately. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.
