In the NHS and private sector I perform a wide variety of minimally invasive Interventional Radiology procedures including central venous access device placement such as implanted port-a-caths, peripheral and visceral arterial angioplasty and stenting, varicocoele embolisation, prostate embolisation, fistuloplasty, gastro-intestinal, urological and biliary interventions, and image-guided biopsy and drainage procedures. I have a special interest in uterine artery embolisation for fibroids and adenomyosis and also undertake ultrasound scanning, CT and MRI imaging.
After completing my medical degree and BSc at King's College in London and then passing my MRCP I went on to do Radiology at Guy's & St. Thomas Hospitals. I subsequently sub-specialised in Interventional radiology and did an additional 1 year fellowship at Barts and The Royal London NHS Trust before obtaining my current Consultant position at Guy's & St. Thomas Hospitals NHS trust in 2009.
