High Blood Pressure Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)
I was referred to Dr Webb following a routine medical in Spring 2019. He did a great job of thoroughly investigating me and taking me though everything. He helped me understand some of the lifestyle issues that were causing me to experience the first signs of risk of heart disease and high blood pressure, cholesterol, pre diabetes. This was done very clearly but in a helpful and sympathetic way. He explained his advice to go on blood pressure pills and I like the way he made it clear I should. It took me a while to fully crack the lifestyle changes but he set me on the right path - and pleased to say I have managed to reverse the issues and he took me off the pills following a full check up this Autumn.

My experience being see by Dr Webb was very positive. During my initial consultation he explained what he thought was the likely cause of my symptoms, and reassured me that they were likely benign, but arranged for further tests (ECG, bloods etc). Following the tests we had a followup consultation to discuss the results, which confirmed his initial diagnosis. At all times, I felt at ease, and that Dr Webb wanted to make sure I understood his thoughts on the diagnosis.

Dr Ian Webb was really approachable, pragmatic and offered me very helpful advice when I was deciding whether or not to go ahead with an ablation. He took the time to have another call with me and was very good at explaining the risks and implications. I would definitely recommend him to anyone - particularly if you have no experience with anything to do with cardiology as he made me feel very relaxed and rational about my condition.
