Dr Faisal Ali, Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological Surgeon works within private practise in Manchester, Cheshire and London. He is highly specialised in a wide range of dermatological issues and has a wealth of experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr Ali begun his medical education at The University of Cambridge, graduating in pre-clinical medicine before graduating from the University of Oxford in clinical studies. Following this he underwent specialist training in dermatology in Manchester. He then undertook a fellowship focusing on Mohs micrographic surgery and laser dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital Trusts. He was then awarded an additional fellowship abroad in Singapore focusing on skin pigmentation disorders.
Dr Ali is an active researcher, having been awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His work has resulted in the publication of over 170 peer-reviewed articles, and over 50 lectures/presentations at conferences around the globe. His work has earnt his several awards including the BMJ Dermatology of the Year in 2018.
