



Cardiology
Dr Edward Rowland is a Consultant Cardiologist working for The Harley Street Clinic in London. He has a specialist interest in cardiac rhythm disorders, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac implants and ablation techniques.
Dr Rowland qualified from St Bart’s Hospital Medical School in 1974. Following this, he undertook his cardiology training at The Royal Postgraduate Medical School and the National Heart Hospital. He then began working at the National Heart and Lung Institute in 1989. In 1992, he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer at St George’s Hospital Medical School, and then in 1996 he worked as a Consultant Cardiologist. He previously held the position as Chairman of the Multicentre European Radiofrequency Survey, and also the European Society of Cardiology Working Group.
