Dr Zainab Laftah

Dr Zainab Laftah is a fully accredited Consultant Dermatologist at the St John’s Institute of Dermatology, a world-leading centre for patients with skin disease based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Within her specialty, Dr Laftah is particularly interested in medical and aesthetic dermatology. She endeavours to provide her patients with safe and effective dermatology, with rewarding clinical results.

In 2008, Dr Laftah graduated with a medical degree from the University of Warwick. Following this, she undertook basic medical and specialised dermatology training in London’s most distinguished hospitals. Owing to her consistent delivery of holistic and patient-centred care, Dr Laftah also holds the position of Surgical Lead at University Hospital Lewisham.

Dr Laftah has published widely in the field of dermatology and often speaks at conferences around the UK and further afield. She is highly regarded for her dedication to her patients and to dermatology research and has received numerous prizes for her exceptional academic excellence. She has also published her research and work in numerous journals, is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and enjoys presenting at conferences across the UK and abroad.
