



Respiratory Medicine
Dr Creer studied at the University of Cape Town Medical School, graduating in 1991. He undertook his specialist medical training in London including the Royal Free Hospital, the London Chest and St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
Dr Creer is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Creer has been a specialist respiratory and general medicine physician since 2004. Dr Creer's NHS base is at Barnet Hospital, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Creer has accumulated specialist expertise at clinical assessment and at interpreting chest x-rays, Chest CT scans and specialised breathing tests which allows him to provide a comprehensive assessment. Dr Creer also performs bronchoscopy to allow the visual assessment of the breathing tubes having performed over 1500 procedures.
Dr Creer has a broad range of respiratory expertise including the assessment of common respiratory symptoms like Cough (including longstanding cough, coughing excessive sputum and coughing up blood), Breathlessness, Wheezing, Unintentional weight loss with lung cancer risk factors such as smoking, Positive TB skin or TB blood tests and the investigation of possible lung cancers including patients requiring Lung Cancer Screening. Dr Creer has expertise managing conditions like Asthma, COPD including Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema, Unexplained breathlessness, Chronic cough, Lung cancer and patients with suspected lung cancer, Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Syndrome, Pneumothorax and Pulmonary embolism. Dr Creer has a special interest in chest infections such as Pneumonia, Bronchiectasis and Tuberculosis.
