Guy's Cancer Centre, Great Maze Pond, London, United Kingdom, SE1 9RTDr David Wrench MA, MBBChir, FRCPath, PhD is a Consultant Haemato-oncologist working at London Bridge Hospital and Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. His specialist interest is in the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma. He graduated in medicine from Cambridge University and underwent specialist haematology training in London, including St Bartholomew’s, Hammersmith and Royal Free Hospitals. He completed a PhD at Barts Cancer Institute and has published lead scientific papers in lymphoma.
David has led a rapid access diagnostic service for patients who have lumps or masses or other symptoms suspicious for cancer. He is also a haematology lead for clinical governance including patient safety and is lead haematology doctor for a collaborative Mind and Body programme in Kings Health Partners to help patient well-being.
His current research interests include the aggressive transformation of lymphoma as well as clinical trials of novel therapeutic approaches and his clinical interests include haematology, lymphoma, haematological malignancies and rapid access diagnostic and lumps clinic.
