



Sports & Exercise Medicine
Dr Daniel Baron has been part of The Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics at Kings College Hospital from 2005-2016. He has on-field experience as Team Physician with Millwall FC 1985-94, England U18 SFA 1993-98, and Blackheath Rugby Club 1995-04, while also seeing dancers from the English National Ballet. He has used the KT1000 arthrometer in the assessment of knee cruciate ligament injuries since 1992 and liaises with knee orthopaedic surgeons.
Dr Baron completed post-graduate training in USA and Europe, which included regular attendances at leading Sports Orthopaedic Congresses, connecting him with orthopaedic contacts world-wide. He has presented research papers including an award on PCL injury In Madrid 2004 and continues his commitment to his interest outside his clinical work by teaching at all levels of Medical Training.
Dr Baron is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine [AOSSM], European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy [ESSKA] and Gesellschaft fur Orthopadisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin [GOTS Germany]: the three leading Sports Medicine Societies in the World. He is also member of SFA [Societe Francophile Arthroscopie] and ESMA [European Sports Medicine Assocation].
