Miss Charlotte Chaliha is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with higher specialist training in Uro-gynaecology. In 2007 In 2007 she was appointed as a Consultant with a special interest in pelvic floor disorders at The Royal London Hospital and she has been lead Urogynaecologist since 2013 for Barts Health NHST. She runs a specialist clinic for women with childbirth-related problems such as urinary or faecal incontinence and perineal pain. Miss Chaliha also sees patients privately, including at The Portland Hospital.
Miss Chaliha graduated in Medicine and Physiological Sciences from St Anne’s College, Oxford and Selwyn College, Cambridge. Her MD thesis was on the ‘Risk factors and causes of trauma to the pelvic floor during childbirth’ and she has authored numerous chapters and publications covering pelvic floor damage, investigation and surgery related to childbirth. She also provides expert guidance for the Courts in England and Wales on behalf of claimants and defendants in personal injury and clinical negligence actions.
