I found Dr Clapp very engaging, detailed in explaining symptoms and suitable solutions and very involved when it came to planning future care. HIs attention to what I was trying to explain was really noticeable and made me feel like i was being listened to and understood. HIs prescription of medication also seemed considered, taking into account how I might respond or react to individual medications before prescribing larger doses. All round highly recommended. A really nice, friendly and professional Doctor.

Dr Clapp provides very clear explanations and advice and is always happy to respond to my questions. He carried out an angiogram for me and was extremely careful to explain what is involved and after the procedure his conclusions. I have every confidence in him.

I cannot recommend Dr Clapp and the clinic highly enough. My experience was during the global pandemic, which only serves to heighten my appreciation of the level of service I received. The quality of care by Dr Clapp was tremendous. It was a challenging time for me having suffered a stroke due to a PFO, but the professional and calming manner of Dr Clapp along with a measured sense of good humour coupled with his outstanding clinical ability was a huge reassurance.

I write to you to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for your help and guidance with regards to my recent PFO closure procedure. I must say there was an element of apprehension on my part before the op, and I felt very reassured by being able to meet with you personally to discuss the events beforehand. In fact, I was bubbling with optimism having spoken with you as was my wife. You are an absolute credit to the Cardiac clinic, indeed to the entire NHS, and I have enjoyed being able to meet with you, it has been a pleasure. Your professionalism and calm approach to the whole event certainly eased our worries. Our heartfelt (or should that be our 'repaired' heart-felt) thanks to you especially and your amazing team.
