Dr Brian Bourke is a Consultant Physician in General Medicine & Rheumatology with over 30 years’ experience as an NHS London Teaching Hospital Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer. He is involved in clinical practice in both internal medicine and rheumatology together with a substantial commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. He has extensive experience in all areas of internal medicine and rheumatology and special experience in auto-immune connective tissue diseases and sarcoidosis.
Dr Bourke is currently in full-time private practice, an Honorary Consultant and Senior Lecturer at St George’s Hospital and University, and recently was Chairman of the Specialty Advisory Committee in General Internal medicine of the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board and the regional speciality advisor in General Medicine & Rheumatology for South Thames.
