Dr Antonis Pantazis is a Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust and he also sees patients privately, including at The Harley Street Clinic and The Princess Grace Hospital. He has many years’ experience within the field of cardiomyopathies.
He was first appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at The Heart Hospital, University College London in 2007 and then went to work as a Consultant Cardiologist at Bart’s Heart Centre at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 2015. Dr Pantazis was the leading cardiologist at UCLH’s neuromuscular complex care centre at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. In previous roles, he has also implemented clinics for arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ARVC), cardio-neuromuscular and cardiac sarcoidosis. He was also the leading cardiologist for the interventional and surgical programmes for the management of left-ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He holds memberships of the European Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology Working Group on Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases, the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions and the Hellenic Cardiological Society.
