Paediatrics (children's doctor)
Dr Clarke is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at St Georges Hospital, London. Her clinical expertise is the care of infants, children and teenagers with all forms of neurological disorders including headaches disorders and migraine, Epilepsy and related disorders, Tics and Tourette Syndrome, Neuromuscular Disorders, Developmental disorders, Progressive neurological disorders.
Dr Clarke qualified from the University College Dublin in 1985, continuing her general paediatric training in Oxford, Great Ormond Street Hospital London, Bristol and Bath. Her subspecialist training in paediatric neurology was at St George’s Hospital London, The Hammersmith Hospital London and the Children’s Hospital, Boston USA and was later appointed as Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Neurology in 1996.
Dr Clarke is a member of the British Paediatric Neurology Association and the European Paediatric Neurology Association. She is also a medical advisor to the Tuberous Sclerosis Association. Dr Clarke also has numerous publications, contributes actively to research and is an educational supervisor for paediatric neurology trainees at St Georges.
