



Cardiology
Dr Anthony Nathan is a Consultant Cardiologist, trained in clinical cardiology and specialising within interventional electrophysiology. Until recently he performed all forms of cardiac electrophysiological study including ablation of atrial, junctional and ventricular tachycardia, and also implanted and explanted pacemakers and implantable defibrillators including biventricular devices (cardiac resynchronisation therapy) for heart failure.
Dr Nathan qualified from medical school at the Middlesex Hospital (University of London) in 1975, obtaining his membership of the Royal College of Physicians two years later and Fellowship after that.
He is a founder member of the Wellington Arrhythmia Group and looks after all types of cardiological in-patients at the Wellington Hospital. He lectures on all aspects of arrhythmia care and also on general cardiology to a wide variety of audiences around the world.
