Mr Alexis Schizas is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon based at St Thomas’s Hospital. He also performs private work at the London Clinic and London Bridge Hospital.
He completed his medical training at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical Schools before undertaking his surgical training in the South East London Region. After carrying out clinical research at St Thomas Hospital he was awarded an MD by the University of London. In 2011 he was appointed as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon to Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals.
Mr Schizas specialises in advanced and recurrent colorectal cancer, anal cancer surgery, laparoscopic colorectal surgery and pelvic floor pathology. He also performs perianal procedures for anal fistulas, sepsis, haemorrhoids, fissures and hernia repairs.
