Mr Adil Ajuied is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with specialist expertise in all kinds of knee complaints and surgery. Since 2009, Mr Adil has been based at Guy's and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, one of London's leading centres. He also practises privately at the UK's leading orthopaedic and sports medicine group, the Fortius Clinic, also based in London.

Mr Ajuied's key areas of expertise include knee injury, knee swelling, meniscus tears and repair, knee fracture; anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) issues and reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, knee dislocation, knee wear, knee arthritis and osteoarthritis, tendon injury, knee replacement, knee cap pain, patellofemoral syndrome and pain, high tibial osteotomy (HTO) knee surgery and realignment, as well as knee ski injury. During his many years of experience performing knee surgery, Mr Ajuied has developed a variety of care innovations, including advanced surgical devices and techniques, as well as enhanced rehabilitation programmes.

In 1998, Mr Ajuied qualified doctor from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, after which he embarked upon extensive training at multiple level one trauma centres throughout London and the South East of England. Mr Ajuied completed a postgraduate Masters degree during the course of his training, and was appointed as Senior Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics. recognising his contributions to higher surgical training, he was also appointed as Director of Education for South London Orthopaedics.

Mr Ajuied has travelled to multiple countries around the world as part of his specialty training and charitable work, including Belgium, South Africa and the USA. In 2008, he was based at the University Hospital of Witwaterstrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he held the position of Honorary Consultant. Whilst he was here, Mr Ajuied set up a dedicated Knee Injury Service, which continues to thrive and serve the local community.
