Dr Abbas Ismail is a leading Consultant Rheumatologist with HCA Healthcare at The Wilmslow Hospital along with an NHS post at Stockport Hosptial. He has a wide range of experience in all areas of rheumatology but has a particular interest in inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. He is also interested in helping these suffering from bone issues such as osteoporosis and Paget's Disease.

The talented physician qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School with a Medical Degree in 1989. He completed further training in rheumatology and general medicine across numerous centres of excellence in London, Sheffield and Manchester. He was appointed Consultant in 2000 and is heavily involved in research, particularly in male and female osteoporosis.
