Mr Davenport is a consultant orthopedic surgeon who specialises in hip and knee surgery and the management of lower limb injuries. He centres his practice around personalised, patient-centered care, and provides both non-surgical and surgical treatments for a wide range of hip and knee conditions.
Mr. Davenport went on to complete additional surgical training in trauma and orthopedic surgery in South London, including rotations at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospitals, St. George's Hospital, and the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC). He earned a Master's degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath before moving on to two specialist fellowships, where he learned advanced procedures in knee surgery at Guy's Hospital and hip surgery at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
He has a special interest in hip and knee replacement and is currently involved in research into hip dysplasia management, day-case hip, and knee surgery, and patient health optimization prior to joint replacement surgery. He has published extensively in major orthopedic publications and attends and presents at national and international conferences on a regular basis. He has a strong interest in teaching and has won a number of awards for planning and delivering orthopedic training in the region. He has also authored journal papers and a textbook for medical students and junior doctors.
