Dr Daniel Anderson is a Consultant Psychiatrist with a specialist interest in psycho-oncology and has been working at The Christie Foundation Trust since 2019. He provides consultations for both in- and out-patients suffering from mental health issues, and his research interests include psychotherapeutic treatments, gender and sexuality and mentalisation techniques.
He was first appointed as a Consultant in 2010 and has worked across Merseyside, Wales and York, covering liaison psychiatry, old age psychiatry and medical management. He also worked as Medical Director at an independent hospital which involved the positions, Caldicott Guardian and Responsible Officer.
Dr. Anderson is also involved in teaching and has worked as an Honorary Lecturer with the University of Central Lancashire, Bangor University and University of Nottingham. He is an Honorary Research Fellow with the University of Manchester and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
