



Dermatology, General Practice (GP)
Dr Bryan McDonald is a consultant dermatologist at the Royal London Hospital. Here, he carries out adult and paediatric dermatology clinics, seeing patients with a wide range of skin disorders including complex inflammatory skin diseases such as acne vulgaris, psoriasis, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa. He also offers skin cancer assessment and performs skin surgery. He sees private patients at the following locations:
He is the paediatric dermatology lead at the Royal London Hospital and has set up a new hidradenitis suppurativa/complex acne service. He also leads a male genital dermatology service at both the Royal London Hospital and Watford General Hospital.
Dr McDonald gained his MB Bch in 2000 from Queen's University of Belfast where he initially trained as a general practitioner. He achieved his membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners before taking up a GP Partnership. During this period, he developed a particular interest in dermatology and moved to London to pursue higher specialist dermatology training.
He is currently the honorary secretary of the British Association of Dermatologists, a member of the British Association of Dermatologists Therapeutics and Guidelines Committee and chair of the British Association of Dermatologists medicines access sub-committee.
