Mr Mohamed Abdelhamid is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in London. He specialises in the management of varicose veins, thread & spider veins, peripheral arterial disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, leg ulcers and lympdedaema.

During this time, Mr Abdelhamid worked at St Thomas' Hospital, King's College Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Kent & Canterbury Hospital. Following this, he completed a two year Endovascular Fellowship in Australia before being appointed as Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon at St George’s University Hospital in 2017.

Alongside his clinical work Mr Abdelhamid is actively involved in research. He has published extensively in high impact vascular surgery journals and has also written a chapter for a textbook.

Mr Said Abisi is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon based at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals. He also runs private clinics at London Bridge Hospital. Professor Vassilis Hadjianastassiou (also known as Vass Anastassiou) graduated from the Medical School of the Uni. of Oxford, where he also completed his doctoral thesis in abdominal aortic aneurysms. He holds dual GMC accreditation in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, having completed his specialist surgical training at the Oxford and London Deaneries. He was appointed Consultant Surgeon at Guy's & St. Thomas' NHS Hospitals in 2008, where he also served as the Clinical Lead for pancreas transplantation. Ian Loftus is a Consultant and Professor in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and is one of the leading aortic surgeons in the UK.

After completing his medical training with a distinction in surgery, he went on to train in vascular surgery in Leicester. In 2004 he took up his consultancy post at St Georges Hospital in London to help expand their vascular and endovascular practice. He was appointed as a Professor in Vascular Surgery at St Georges University in 2014.

Professor Loftus is past President of both major national vascular societies, the Vascular Society of Great Britain and the British Society for Endovascular Therapy. He is the Director of the Regional Aneurysm Screening Programme and past Clinical Tutor for Critical Care at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mr Benjamin Lindsey is a consultant general, vascular and renal transplant surgeon based in London and working at the Royal London Hospital.

Mr Lindsey has specialised in both vascular surgery and renal transplantation for the last 12 years of his consultant surgical practice.  His fellowship award from the Royal College of Surgeons of England for laparoscopic donor nephrectomy has made him a trusted choice for complex surgery by hundreds of people in the UK.

He typically sees patients with kidney disease, kidney failure, and vascular issues such as carotid stenosis, iliac and popliteal aneurysms, and issues caused by diabetes.

He has a special interest in atypical limb pain, alongside having a keen interest in research surrounding the use of nanotechnology to create small calibre bypass grafts. Mr Lindsey has received research funding from the EPSRC to develop technology to improve the lives of patients on dialysis.

Mr Lindsey has considerable expertise in designing and delivering unplanned surgeries. He also has a track record of training surgeons in operative surgery both in the UK and overseas.

Mr Lindsey trained as a general, vascular and renal transplant surgeon in the UK and South Africa. Following the completion of his UK training, he undertook fellowships at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, in both trauma and transplant surgery before moving to Eerste River Hospital in Stellenbosch to work as a single-handed general surgeon. He was later appointed as the first dual NHS accredited vascular and renal transplant surgeon in London, working at the Royal Free Hospital before moving to Barts to replicate the same clinical practice.

Mr Hany Zayed qualified from medical school in 1994 and completed a master degree (MSc) in 1999 before going on to complete his MD in 2004. Mr Zayed was appointed as a vascular and endo-vascular consultant surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in 2008. He went on to lead the vascular service in the trust between 2016 - 2018.
