Dr Samar Kulkarni is a Consultant Haematologist with The Christie NHS Trust and he also sees patients privately at The Christie Private Care. He has worked in the field of haematology-oncology and stem cell transplantation since 1992.
His specialist interests include acute lymphoid leukaemia, acute myeloid leukaemia, myeloma, lymphoma, lyeloproliferative disorders, bone marrow/stem cell transplantation and other aspects of malignant haematology. He has held the position of Training Programme Director, Haematology for Health Education England, NW Deanery since 2015. Dr Kulkarni has had more than 200 peer reviewed publications in the field of myeloma, leukaemia, stem cell transplantation and he presents at numerous national and international meetings, including invited lectures.
His memberships and affiliations include: American Society of Haematology, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, American Society of Microbiology and Indian Co-operative Oncology Network (ICON, Life member).
